Pakistan Weather Today ("the App") is developed by Muhammad Zaeem Khan. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Location Data: If you grant permission, the App uses your device's GPS to detect your nearest city for showing local weather. Your location is processed on-device only to match the nearest PMD weather station. We do not store, transmit, or share your GPS coordinates.
City Selection: Your selected city preference is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Push Notification Token: If you enable notifications, your Expo push token is stored on our server to send weather alerts. No personal information is linked to this token.
All weather data displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available websites of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), National Weather Forecasting Centre (NWFC), and related government agencies. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by PMD.
The App uses the following third-party services:
All user preferences (selected city, favorite cities, theme) are stored locally on your device. No user data is transmitted to external servers except the optional push notification token.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App displays publicly available weather information only.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
